Work Experience

Dr Ganesh Shenoy has completed MBBS from Mysore Medical College,Mysore. He then went on to complete his MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Goa Medical College,Bambolim,Goa,one of the first Medical colleges in Asia. He also completed his Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,Bangalore and Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from Delhi

Education

Dr Ganesh has worked as Consultant Minimal Access,GI and Bariatric Surgery at BGS Global hospital and AV Hospital ,Bangalore.He has also worked as visiting consultant at various corporate hospitals in Bangalore before joining with his team at Fortis Hospital,Cunnigham Road.

He was involved in training General Surgeons,Gynaecologists,GI Surgeons,Onco Surgeons and Urologists in the field of Laparoscopic surgery. He was the chief co-ordinator for laparoscopic surgery training for surgeons at BEST Institute and Research Centre,Bangalore.

Honors & Awards

Dr Ganesh Shenoy has received the best paper, poster and video presentation awards in many State and National Conferences. He is an invited faculty for State and National Conferences. He has been invited to present papers, video lectures, demonstrate live laparoscopic surgeries, moderate and chair sessions during National conferences. He is an experienced key opinion leader in the field of Laparoscopic hernia surgery. He was on the organizing committee for many State and National conferences. He is also a faculty for the Hernia Essentials Training Program of the Asia Pacific Hernia Society. In addition to being a former executive committee member of the surgical society of Bangalore, he is also the present Executive Committee Member, South zone of Hernia Society of India.
