Dr Harish D has an experience of over 6 years in Paediatric Cardiology

Education

Dr. Harish completed MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and did MD in Paediatrics from Government Medical College, Nagpur. He has also done Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology from Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bommasandra, Bangalore. During his academic career, he has won IAP Post Graduate Pediatric Quiz 2010. He has participated in various local CMEs, conferences at the state and national level in Pediatric Cardiology chapters and has also been a faculty and moderator in CMEs on advanced cardiovascular therapeutics.

Area Of Expertise

Dr Harish is highly experienced in performing percutaneous interventions in various structural heart lesions in infants, young children and adults. He has performed various keyhole procedures, like:

• Device closure of ASD (Atrial septal Defects), PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus), VSD (ventricular Septal Defects), aortopulmonary collateral
• Balloon dilatation procedures for Pulmonary valve stenosis, aortic valve stenosis, branch pulmonary artery stenosis, coarctation of aorta
• Stenting procedures for coarctation of aorta, branch pulmonary artery stenosis
• Transvenous temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation
• Diagnostic cardiac catheterisations of various complex acyanotic and cyanotic congenital heart diseases
• TTE (Transthoracic echo), TEE (Transesophageal echo), 3D TTE and 3D TEE
• Arrhythmia management
• He also has an experience of managing complex congenital heart lesions detected antenatally by fetal echo
