Dr. Padmakumar is experienced with 26 years in Speciality of Critical Care Medicine. He had worked in some of the Best Critical Care Units in the country and abroad. He is also a recognized teacher by ISSCCM for imparting training in critical care. To his rich experience, he also has worked as a Senior Consultant and HOD of the Department of Critical care Medicine at the largest multi-specialty Hospitals.

Dr. Padmakumar did his MBBS from Medical College Trivandrum, University of Kerala India,(1989). He has completed his post graduate training in General Medicine from Kasturba Medical college, Mangalore. And later, he started his career in Critical care Medicine in the year 1996. He went to Australia in 2001 for further training in Critical care. He has worked at Westmead Hospital and Black town Hospital in Sydney during his JFICM training. Returned to India in the year 2005.
He is also Life Member of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISSCCM) and also a examiner for Indian Society of Critical Care(IDCC).
