Dr. Pooja is a consultant in the MICU and has more than 10 years of experience in critical care with background training as an Anesthesiologist. She is a recognized teacher by ISCCM for imparting training in critical care and also a life time member of Indian Society of critical care medicine (ISCCM).
She started her career as an anesthesiologist in 2005 and moved to critical care medicine in 2010. After finishing her training in critical care medicine she has been associated with fortis healthcare for more than 7 years. She has also gained vast experience in critical care at one of the worlds leading trauma and intensive care units at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia.
Dr Pooja graduated from JIPMER (Pondicherry) in 2003 and completed her postgraduation(DA/MD) in Anaesthesiology from govt medical college ,Thiruvananthapuram in 2008. she started her career in critical care medicine in 2010 and did her fellowship in intensive care medicine (RGUHS) from Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research and has also completed her IDCCM and EDIC in Critical care medicine. She is a trained ATLS provider and FCCS instructor.
She is a recognized teacher by ISCCM And NBE and also has publications in many peer-reviewed journals.
