Dr. Vamsi has received his MBBS and MS degrees with Gold Medals from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka following which he has pursed his training in Hand and Upper extremity surgery from premier institutes in India and abroad. He has specialty clinical fellowships from CMC- Vellore, Ganga Hospitals, National University of Singapore and Institute of Kaplan, Spain. Dr Vamsi’s clinical interest include a comprehensive array of hand and upper limb disorders such as brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injuries, fractures, tendon, vascular injuries of the entire upper limb. He is also highly skilled in microsurgery and wrist arthroscopy.
His other areas of clinical interests include Paralytic disorders of upper limb; Compressive neuropathy including Carpal and Cubital tunnel syndromes; Wrist & Elbow fractures and dislocation; Spasticity and tetraplegia management; Congenital anomalies and deformity corrections related to upper limb; Local and free flap coverage; Sports injuries; Tendon injuries.
