Book An AppointmentDr. Sudarshan is an accomplished cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with over 12 years of experience in the specialty. He has trained extensively in India and UK, under world-renowned surgeons and is now back in India to make a difference with his skill and expertise.
Dr. Sudarshan has an experience of over 12 years in the field of Cardio-Thoracic Sciences.
He completed is MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore and later pursued MS & DNB in General Surgery, followed by MCh & DNB (Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery). He acquired the first position in his MCh training in Mumbai and also secured C S Sadasivan Gold medal in cardiothoracic surgery in All India National Board examinations. He later went to UK and completed his FRCS - Cardiothoracic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has also done a Fellowship in Advanced Adult Cardiac Surgery (Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Aortic surgeries and VATS) from Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, UK.
He has a keen interest in Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery, primarily in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Robotic Cardiac Surgery, Aortic Surgery, Off-Pump Coronary Surgery, VATS lung surgeries, Valve repair surgeries, surgery for Atrial Fibrillation and surgery for Heart Failure including Transplantation. He is also interested in academic research on Cardiothoracic Surgery and has papers published in various national and international journals.
