Fortis Hospital, BG Road Receives Accreditation from JCI for the Record Fifth Time

Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, added yet another feather to its cap by receiving accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI), for the fifth time. Through this achievement, Fortis Hospital, BG Road has become the only hospital in the state of Karnataka to be granted the status of accredited five times by JCI. JCI is one of the oldest recognition for best practices in quality and patient safety in the world. This accreditation has reiterated the hospital’s constant endeavour to offer the patients with the highest quality of care and ensuring patient safety in each aspect. To be accredited, the hospital is also evaluated for performance in areas like medical expertise, staff qualifications, efforts to improve the quality of services, facilities management and safety and organizational leadership.
