LASER TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate) – It is a surgical procedure to treat patients with an enlarged, benign (non-cancerous) prostate called Benign Prostate Hyperplasia or BPH.

  • TURBT (Trans Urethral Resection of Bladder Tumor) – Treatment of excessive growth of cells on the internal surface of the bladder. A tumour may be either cancerous or non-cancerous.

  • BMG Urethroplasty – Treatment of urethral strictures to ensure long-term patency of urethra.

  • LAPAROSCOPY – Also known as key hole surgery, it is used for the treatment of benign conditions like swelling in the kidney to cancerous and malignant conditions in the kidney, bladder or the prostate. Kidney Stone

Kidney Stones are characterized by sudden intense pain; the stones are lumps of mineral that accumulate typically in the kidney (nephrolithiasis) in the ureter (ureterolithiasis), in the bladder (cystolithiasis) or by what their composition might be calcium oxalate, uric acid, cysteine etc. Most stones form due to a combination of genetics and environmental factors when the minerals in the urine are at high concentration.

Small stones may pass without showing any symptoms however if the stone grows more than 5 mm in size it can cause a blockage causing severe pain in the lower back or abdomen.   • LITHOTRIPSY – A powerful Dornier Lithotripter which uses both X-Ray and ultrasound    localization for real time imaging. With this the stone can be seen at all times during the treatment and the pain is minimal as the patient is under mild sedation. The Lithotripter generates shockwaves, which crush dense stones into sand like particles which are then easily be eliminated from the body through urine.
  •  PCNL – Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used for larger or remotely located kidney stones. It is a safe and effective way to remove larger stones or remotely located kidney stones.
  • RIRS (Retrograde Intra Renal Surgery) – This procedure is performed using flexible endoscopes to treat the stone in any location of the urinary tract, which are generally inaccessible by traditional methods.
  • URS / URSLC (URS Stone Removal) –Ureteric stones are removed by passing an ureteroscope through the urethra and bladder. The stone is removed with special instruments or the stone is fragmented by using the Swiss lithoclast or holmium laser.
  • LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY – Laparoscopic surgery could be an option in certain cases depending on the size and location of stones, existing diseases, etc.
  • LASER UROLOGY – In this procedure holmium laser is used for renal and ureteric stone removal.
  • OPEN SURGERY – The larger stones which cannot be removed by any of the above techniques are removed by open and conventional surgery.
