What is Body Mass Index (BMI)?
Body Mass Index or BMI is the key indicator for the measure of healthy body size determined by the person’s weight & height. BMI helps indicated whether an individual is underweight if they have a healthy weight or they are overweight and obese. Health risks of an individual are interdependent on their BMI. Although BMI may not be an accurate diagnostic tool, it is useful to screen & detect potential weight problems.
